Rosalia
Rosalia Vila aka Rosalia is the Spanish Pop/Flamenco singer. Since she was a teenager, she's been involved with the edges of both popular and traditional music. In addition, she explores genres including hip-hop, trap and soul. Pepe Habichuela Flamenco guitarist who is renowned for her talent, described her voice by saying it is sweet, with a traditional bite. El Mal Querer was her major commercial and critical breakthrough in the year 2018. The single Los Angeles garnered her attention and earned her a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist, it topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she won a Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd, was released in 2021. Motomami featured songwriting partnerships with numerous artists such as Cory Henry, James Blake as well as others. The release came on March 20, 2022 after performances of the track Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia has become the only Spanish artist to have performed alone on the popular program. In addition to winning three more Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia, she also became the first female to be awarded this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
