Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. She spent the majority of her childhood listening to music from the past, boleros from the past, classic ranchero or romantic music and classic classical music. Ana loves Tangos, opera, and any form of dramatic performance. When she was 16 years old, she started singing and studying music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began giving her a more intensive singing instruction. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Later, she attended an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. When she was a student, and a young professional, she performed with numerous chamber ensembles and opera choirs in Guadalajara and Mexico City. When she moved from Mexico to the United States in 2000, she sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and often performs as a soloist with traditional Latin American music at private events. She has been involved with a number of local projects in both teaching as well as a performer due to her passion for music and arts. Ana has also been a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as well as The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing classic Latin American songs and hopes to inspire other people to follow in her footsteps.
