Born Alicia Linda Goranson on June 22nd, 1974 in Evanston, Illinois, she started her acting career in the popular sitcom Roseanne in 1998. Her most well-known role was being the character Becky Conner-Healy from 1998 until 1995. Because of her English major program at Vassar College, she was only able sporadically to appear in the seasons 5 to 8. She exited the series in 1992 to pursue her education .
